Tim Burton: How can they tell me I’m weird when everything else is so abstract!
Tim Burton: I was never interested in what everybody else was interested in. I was very interiorized. I always felt kind of sad.
Tim Burton: I have a problem when people say something’s real or not real, or normal or abnormal. The meaning of those words for me is very personal and subjective. I’ve always been confused and never had a clearcut understanding of the meaning of those kinds of words.

damaged-gods asked: Ahh, okay. But I really do suggest watching Livid. Personally, I love this movie because it is both gorey and poetic at the same time. Real Suicide Notes →
These suicide notes were gathered at the coroners’ offices by a suicidologist/psychiatrist who asked to be anonymous. He edited identifying details out of the compiled manuscript, and we changed the names. But the text of each letter plus the age and sex given are real. All these people did kill themselves. Were they ambivalent about it? About half the hundred or so letters we saw seemed to have...
